Kurupi is a band that I worked with in high school. The group strives towards a heavily eclectic sound, ranging from heavy punk and surf-rock to modern hip-hop. The band is extraordinary with their genre-bending and experimentation, and brings a multitude of popular styles to the table.

     In 2018, Kurupi released their debut album, Routine Boutique. The production on this record is significantly polished for the D.I.Y., post-punk, art-rock style that the group has pioneered. Personally, working on this record has been both a groundbreaking and soul-crushing experience, as it has been the most time-consuming process I've ever faced. My vocal performance on tracks such as "Waiting Room" and "Relic" is something that I've been meaning to explore previously, and I'm glad to have contributed as such.
